Played this on my Channel's Series called 3 SCARY GAMES! It's the 1st game I played in the video starting at 1:20!
This was hands down one the most unsettling experiences I've ever had. This game blew me away with the amount and suspense this game built with the incredible atmosphere and sound design. Not only that but the the general twists and story of this game unexpected which just made it even better. Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone really wanting to be scared out of their mind!
Okay, the transitions for this game were pristine. I love a game that flows like that! Very much a backrooms and SCP vibe, and I would LOVE to see this continue into a full fledged storyline about a Backrooms/SCP entity who fashions this furnished house. Well done.
Backrooms Returns in a House? - 2000 Navidson Lane
Thanks for playing my game! I tried to have it make *some* kind of sense, even if it was made on a tight schedule and wouldn't easily become a very fleshed out narrative. Glad it ended up being enjoyable.
My goodness me! What a game. I could spend lots and lots of words on it, but let me just keep it simple; it's amazing, awesome and it adumbrated the loneliness of a lost soul in me.
Great game to play. I like the idea on playing on your fear of the unknown. It wasn't just dumb jump scares it was the experience you had to go through. Keep at it I love what ya got.
Really beautiful looking game! I did get attacked by a door at one point but overall it was a very well put together game. The jumpscare got me good! Your game is first and starts at 00:21
What a polished experience, I was playing headphones on and got hooked instantly by your careful sound design. You managed to pull off a convincing and unsettling setting with the design of the house, which reminded me the best moments of Gone Home. Visually the game has the charm and the strange coldness of early ps3/360 games, i don't know why but this plus the overall mood gave the game some kind of forbidden nostalgia ahah. Great from start to finish, congrats.
Thank you so much for checking it out. Seriously, I'm always eager to find out what other devs think of what I'm making, especially when I enjoy their work like I enjoy yours!
This is a well-made game! Definitely enjoyed playing the different game areas. Great graphics and you put your own style to each area to make it different than the original version. Good job! Game here:
The game is great for a seven day build, it really feels otherworldly as you are exploring that place, and I was surprised by how many unique environments you were able to build into there. Absolutely great ending, I could feel the build up to something and felt like I was being hunted but was still shocked. Also the ending made me laugh, the noise came out of nowhere.
Really nice short horror game. Loved the ending with the borders closing in and the monster can be seen outside the border. I think I've seen it in another game from the Dread X collection where a ghost comes from the 3:4 black bars on the side. Really cool concept to use and feels really out of the box.
Good game although short. I found it interesting how the horror is built using player apprehension. I spent a lot of time thinking that something would happen inside the house to only happen at the very end of the game. It was a very interesting thing to see here. Congratulations.
What a great game. I love the graphics and the assets used. To me everything in the house looks spot on. The game successfully kept me on edge the entire time I explored the house. Then it got weird and confused me, but in a good way. I look forward to seeing more from duckenheimer :)
game is unreal, the story is great the atmosphere is fantastic and that scare wow the build up was excellent, after the jam id really love it if you pushed into this more, especially with the teaser about the cops at the end, i think this could be a fully fledged game, if you would like to check out my gameplay here we go if you enjoy be sure to hit the sub button! thank you
Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.
This was a cool horror game about the main character being tricked to take up a job and to enter the house. The entire mood and atmosphere of the horror game was really horrifying as the lighting of the rooms of the house helped to enhance the scary atmosphere of the game. I liked that the game made use of many horror elements to shape the game into something interesting, mysterious and scary. The game reminded me of other games while playing through the game, such as backrooms. I did not expect the game to have so many twists and turns and a few jumpscares that got me good, especially the end of the game. I liked the design of the rooms of the house as well as it makes the house look more like a home than some random empty scary house.
It would be cool if there were more things to do in the house instead of just walking around the house and weird events so that the entire experience will be more fun and immersive.
Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

I wasn't expecting this game to be like this. I was on edge the whole time. I recommend it.
The game is short but scary. We are locked in the backroom without realizing it and the creature that is there is terrifying. Good job!

I think a game like this made in 7 days in someone's garage is worth a lot more than full credit👍👍👍

Oh yeah, you may have seen a similar "ghost in the border" in a game by corpsepile, as he's my uncle! We tend to work with some similar ideas!
Really interesting game! Felt like something from the Backrooms universe in places. Well designed experience, and good job.
I really enjoyed this game! Will there be a follow up? or some type of continuation?
